Boston Sax Shop E-Series Mouthpiece for tenor saxophone

The E Series is the all-rounder, the one that can cut through a loud band while whispering an undertone on a ballad.
Inspired by the tonal characteristics of the coveted Otto Link "Early Babbit", we really wanted to find that perfect balance between brightness and warmth that the best vintage mouthpieces have. The end result (after many prototypes) ended up with an interior format that utilizes a unique, longer roll over baffle.
Unlike the shorter, more raised baffles found in vintage models, I find that the more subtle parabola of this baffle provides the same amount of power without sacrificing the uniformity of sound that is so important to me. The end result is, once again, incredibly versatile: punchy, warm, and easy to play!
