Taylor has a well-deserved reputation for making mould-breaking instruments, with fantastic sound, playability, build quality and design.
The Custom Series is the top of the Chicago Model range.  At its heart it is a Chicago Standard only with an extra reinforcement plate to make it super stiff.  The stiffer a trumpet is, the more efficient it is.  Simply put, this means that more of what you put into the mouthpiece comes out of the bell.  The trumpet absorbs less energy.  The result is more sound and volume with less effort.
