These reeds have been designed to produce a sound of extreme purity, thanks to their very fine tip (the zone of maximum vibration), balanced by a very solid backbone (more wood in the area leading gradually towards the heel).
The "Traditional" reed of the blue box is the reference point for positioning the rest of the reeds in other brands or cuts, preferred by classical musicians (although suitable for any style) and used all over the world.
